Webinar: Guidelines Harmonization: A Canadian Perspective

This webinar, containing the presentation slides, is now available. Downloading, copying, reusing, or distributing this document is not permissible.

This interactive webinar will focus on The Canadian Cardiovascular HArmonization of National Guidelines Endeavour (C-CHANGE),” an innovative collaboration of seven partner guideline organizations that work together to harmonize and integrate recommendations from multiple guidelines.  The initiative is part of a national cardiovascular disease (CVD) prevention and chronic disease management strategy endorsed by  the major CVD risk factor organizations in Canada, including cardiac and stroke rehabilitation, diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, obesity, physical activity, and smoking cessation. The goals of C-CHANGE are to establish a common vision and action for CVD prevention clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) in Canada; to develop, disseminate, implement and evaluate a coordinated, harmonized and integrated CVD prevention and treatment strategy; and to maximize the translation of CVD prevention and treatment knowledge into effective action.
